Baku. Ayaz Abdulla – APA. The Obama administration plans to ask Congress for an additional $33 billion for military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq in 2011, said unknown sources at the Defense Department, APA reports quoting RBC news agency. According to the report, the White House needs in $708 billion next year and the budget bill is due to Congress on February 1.
Earlier the US administration decided to send 3100 additional troops to Afghanistan. 2600 of them are the soldiers of fighting units and 500 – service units.
