Death-wish Jacko had suicide note
Pals said the King of Pop “often overdosed†and had been trying to kill himself for a decade.
One said: “We’re surprised he even made it to 50†– his age when he died.
Sister La Toya, 53, believes Jacko was murdered by hangers-on who were after his millions.
But police have also been told the singer injected prescription drugs and may have killed himself.
Frail Jacko was pressured into approving his planned 50-date comeback after agreeing to just 10 dates, said dad Joe.
Insiders believe the financially struggling star “couldn’t face his problems†and wanted a way out.
He would keep the suicide note in his pocket and overdosed, they added. “Michael always talked about dying young,†one said. “He wrote suicide notes then tore them up. He kept one with him – he often read it.
“He wanted everyone to know how sad he was.â€
Another pal said he’d wanted to end his life ever since he was humiliated by child abuse claims in the 1990s.
Michael Laperruque, a retired LA officer and security aide for the star, said doctors had tried to ween him off Demerol painkiller, suspected to be the cause of his death last month.
One medic “was upset with Jackson because he had been self-injectingâ€, according to notes in Jacko’s official 2005 molestation trial file.
Housekeeper Kristine Foumier said his drug bingeing dated back more than a decade.
She told cops: “People would say, ‘His eyes were rolling and he wouldn’t know what he was talking about.’ He had good periods and bad periods. When he had a bad period, he had a bad period.â€
Joe said his son was “pushed too hard†in the lead-up to his dates at London’s O2 arena, where hundreds of fans have been paying respect.
He said: “Michael told me he agreed to 10 shows. But they went and added all these others.
“No artist can do those many shows back to back like that.â€
The coroner believes the cause of death will be revealed this week.
We told yesterday how he predicted his death to daughter Paris, 11.
Michael’s mum Katherine, 79, who has custody of children Paris, Prince 12, and Prince Michael II, seven, lost a bid to gain control of his estate.
The singer’s actress pal Elizabeth Taylor, 77, was last night being treated in an LA hospital as she struggles to come to terms with his death.
