Washington –APA. The United States has to point its nuclear warheads at 12 most important economic facilities of Russia, but not largest cities, said Federation of American Scientists (FAS) in its report, APA quotes Russia’s Kommersant newspaper. The federation proposed to target 150-194 Russian cities eight years ago, the newspaper said. According to the new report, changing direction of nuclear targets will reduce human losses and will prevent Russia from the effective military operations damaging its industrial facilities such as Gazprom, Rosneft, Rusal, Nornikel, Surgutneftgaz, Yevraz, Severstal, as well as Russian offices of the Italia’s Enel and Germany’s E.ON companies. Besides that the scientists think that U.S. has to reduce the number of nuclear warheads in cooperation with other nuclear countries and to eliminate warheads step by step.
