Fire was opened on the demonstrators in the square near the headquarters of the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Abdel Hamid Dbeiba. The protesters continue to demand his resignation.
"Armed elements linked to the Bbeiba government shot dead a protester with live ammunition near the Prime Minister's office and tried to run over other people with military equipment," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
