Not only us, but the entire world is suffering from the war in the Middle East, the Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty told journalists at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The foreign minister noted that the war affects global food and energy security.
According to him, the war has led to rising energy prices, disruptions in supply chains, and a number of other problems, as a result of which both the region and the entire world are suffering: “Therefore, we are working to move quickly towards de-escalation and to open the door to diplomacy. That is why we must continue our efforts and increase our pressure to achieve this goal based on the ‘win-win’ principle. Undoubtedly, coordination continues. There is a shared interest in reducing tensions, as well as ensuring security and stability in the region.”
The minister added that if peace is not achieved, an even more tragic situation may prevail.
