The number of people who have died in the city of Mokwa alone as a result of the flooding that has ravaged Nigeria since the beginning of the week has reached 150, said the country’s Emergency Services Agency, APA reports, citing Agence France-Presse.
The agency also stated that the death toll may rise.
In the disaster zone, 265 houses and two bridges have been completely destroyed, and 3,000 people have been evacuated.
