One of the compilers of the book, Shujaat Ahmadzada, stated that the main audience of the publication is citizens:
“That is, people interested in any topic can look at this book and say that these are the terms applied in relation to the urban environment. We understand that this book helps people take initiatives for better laws and become more active citizens in urban centers. In this way, they will be more informed and better understand what they want to see in the urban environment.
The urban governance body came together for the preparation of this material. We also sought support from our colleagues working at the University of Architecture, Construction and Engineering in Uzbekistan. At the same time, we involved our colleagues from the United Nations Human Settlements Programme and the state public committee on architecture to help prepare and review this text. This was part of the daily process of creating urban terminology text.”
Head of the Department for Project Management in the Liberated Territories at the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Ramil Jahangirov, stated that the book is very important in terms of improving the understanding of terminology and ensuring better comprehension of key educational concepts.
He added that the book is also highly useful for students and the academic community.
