Six-hour Caspian Sea cruise organized on occasion of 28 May â€“ Republic â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. On the occasion of 28 May - Republic Day, Millennium Tourism & Congress DMC organized six-hour Caspian Sea cruise with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic.

APA reports that head of Millenium tourism company Ruslan Guliyev, deputy chairman of tourism department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Mahir Gahramanov addressed the event held on board the General Asadov ship.

It was noted that declaration of 2011 â€œTourism Yearâ€ by President Ilham Aliyev encourages the workers of tourism industry to act more fundamentally. The events under the project â€œLetâ€™s discover new tourist routes of Azerbaijanâ€ have been continued successfully since 2010 within the framework of the implementation of the State Program on the development of tourism.
â€œAzerbaijanâ€™s favorable geographical position and water boundaries over 800km along the Caspian Sea offer opportunities to create a wide range of tourism products. The main aim is to promote the existing tourism potential of our country in various events, through various means and partners.â€

The 9th meeting of the Baku Club of Skal International Tourism Company was also held within the framework of the event. The preparation of the countryâ€™s tourism sector in connection with Eurovision-2012 song contest that will be held in Azerbaijan was the main subject of discussion.

President of Skal Baku Guliyev gave information about the organization, spoke about the forthcoming tasks and projects. The members of the organization made interesting proposals.
