Republic Day cruise to be organized on Caspian Sea

Baku. Ulker Gasimova - APA. On the occasion of the Republic Day on May 28, â€œMillennium Tourism & Congress DMC will organize a cruise on the Caspian Sea under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.

The ministryâ€™s tourism department told APA that the six-hour cruise program to be organized in â€œGeneral Asadovâ€ will include banquet and concert, as well as the overseeing of holiday fireworks from sea. The cruise ship will host more than 200 people.

Azerbaijanâ€™s appropriate geographical position and more than 800 km water boundary along the Caspian Sea creates the relevant base for establishment of tourism facilities of high quality. The hosters, artists and dancers will perform in the program.

The representatives of embassies accredited in Azerbaijan and foreign guests will participate in cruise which will be organized on May 28 â€“ The Republic Day.

The above-mentioned event is considered as one of the range of events which has been carried out under the name of â€œLet’s discover new tourist routes of Azerbaijanâ€ since 2010 within the execution of the State Program for the development of tourism.
