Baku. Farid Mirzayev - APA. Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov received Minister for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation Vladimir Puchkov, APA reports.
High level cooperation between the ministries of the two countries in the field of disaster prevention and mitigation were marked at the meeting, and discussed prospects of development of bilateral relations.
Comprehensive cooperation plan for 2017-2019 was signed at a meeting between the ministries.
In conclusion, deputy minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant-General Etibar Mirzayev and Lieutenant-General Faig Tagizade were awarded medals of the Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation.
