Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Members of martyrs’ families in Azerbaijan will be exempted from tuition fee in colleges and Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (for master only).
A draft law on amendments to Article 3 (perpetuation of the memory of martyr and rights of martyrs’ families) of the Law on perpetuation of the name martyr and privileges to martyrs’ families was discussed at the meeting of the Azerbaijani parliament’s committee on science and education.
Apart from higher education institutions, according to the draft law, members of martyrs’ families are now also exempt from tuition fee in colleges and Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (for master only).
The draft law has been recommended to the parliament’s plenary session.
