Azerbaijani MP Yevda Abramov protested to executive bodies during the discussion of the law on currency regulation at the parliamentary meeting on Tuesday.
According to him, two executive bodies are unable to settle the issue of mortgage. The MP argued that it would have been better to reduce the number of money exchanges, rather than abolish them, APA reported.
“They wanted the best but things turned out as usual. Nowhere in the world was there such a convenient system to exchange money. Why not let people exchange money, pay taxes, and contribute to the budget?” said the MP, adding. “I’m accused of speaking tendentiously. Those living in villas in Novkhani, Bilgah, and Sahil have exchanged tons of money in their cars. Couldn’t exchanges have done it? People are unsure as to what currency to choose to save their money. Actually, they’re cheating people. I know I’m going emotional, but it’s impossible not to.”
