Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloghlu – APA. There is a need to make an amendment to the Azerbaijani legislation on organ transplant from dead bodies, the country’s Deputy Health Minister told reporters on Thursday.
He said the issue is being discussed by experts.
“It’s a matter of ethics. Seminars and discussions should be held in this regard. Because each nation has its own features and ethical norms,” said the deputy minister.
Aghayev noted that health institutions in the country are ready for such operations.
“Organ transplant operations are being conducted in our hospitals. It is also possible in districts. This area should continue to develop more.
