Azerbaijan declares days off over Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha for 2017

Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, next year Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on June 26-27 and Eid al-Adha on September 1-2.

As 26 and 27 June fall on Monday and Tuesday, two days will be non-working days.

According to the Labor Code, as 2 September falls on Saturday, non-working and working day will be replaced, so 4 September will also be non-working day. 4 days will be non-working days throughout the country due to Eid al-Adha.
