“Trees located in construction areas in the liberated territories complicate the design process," said Vahid Hajiyev, the President’s special representative in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, during a meeting of the working group on environmental issues in Zangilan, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Zangilan reports.
He noted that with the support of BP, 50,000 trees will be planted in the territory of the Zangilan district within the framework of the “Yeni nafas” (New Breath) project.
“Proper ecological care of these trees is very important. The second issue concerns trees located in construction areas in the liberated territories. An inventory of trees is being carried out. During this process, it becomes difficult to relocate trees that cannot be cut down. For this reason, we face major problems during the design stage. We must conduct the inventory in parallel so that the locations of houses to be built can be determined,” he said.
