Temperature to drop 5-8°C, snow to fall - WARNING

Changeable weather condition and intermittent rain are expected in Baku and Absheron peninsula from October 31 to morning of November 4 after long-lasted abnormally warm weather condition, the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA.

The rain is expected to intensify at night and daytime in some places. Strong northwest wind will blow on October 31 and November 2. Temperature of weather will gradually drop by 5-8 °C in comparison with last days.

Lightning and intermittent rain are expected in some places from morning of October 31 to daytime of November 3 beginning from northern and western regions of Azerbaijan. Generally, rain can be intensive in northern and eastern regions, snow is expected to fall in mountainous areas. Western wind will blow, it will intensify in some places. Water level in rivers is expected to increase, short-term floods and streams are forecasted in some mountainous rivers.
