Strong winds are expected in the Azerbaijani capital Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, ONA reports citing the National Hydrometeorological Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
From March 14 until the morning of March 15, the speed of the northwesterly wind in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will reach 15-20 m/s, sometimes hitting 23-28 m/s.
The temperatures are forecast to fall 5-8 degrees compared to March 13.
Meanwhile, unstable weather is expected in some regions of Azerbaijan from March 14 to March 15 with occasional rains. Snowfall is expected in mountainous areas. The speed of the westerly wind will be 15-20 m/s, in some areas reaching 23-28 m/s.
