The restoration of Karabakh and East Zangezur gives tangible meaning to Azerbaijan's victory, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said at today's plenary session of Parliament, APA reports.

The Speaker stated that the historic victory paved the way for the full restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and its significance is becoming increasingly evident with each passing year.

"The existence of the criminal junta regime operating on Azerbaijani territory has been brought to an end. The political, economic and military potential built through great efforts was reflected in the historic victory. The implementation of resolutions of the UN Security Council and other organizations that had remained on paper for decades has been ensured. The restoration of Karabakh and East Zangezur gives tangible meaning to our victory," she said.
