Strong wind to blow - WARNING

Variably cloudy weather without any rain will be observed in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on March 13 , the weather forecast by the National Hydrometeorological Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told ONA.

Foggy weather will be in some places at day and night. South-west wind will intensify occasionally.

The temperatures on the Absheron Peninsula will be 6-9 C' in the night and 14-19 C' in the morning, while in Baku the temperatures will be 6-8 C' in the night and 16-18 C' in the morning.

Mainly rainless weather is also expected in Azerbaijan’s regions. In some areas, the night and the morning will be foggy. A westerly wind will strengthen in some areas.

The temperatures are forecast at 5-9 in the night and 19-24 in the morning. Meanwhile, on the mountains, the temperatures will be 2-6 in the night and 7-12 in the morning.

MENR warns that on March 13, the speed of south-west wind in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be 15-18 m / s, and will accelerate up to 20 m / s.
