In February, the State Migration Service received 5,875 applications for obtaining (or extending) temporary residence permits and 481 applications for obtaining (or extending) permanent residence permits in the country, the State Migration Service said in response to APA’s inquiry.
During the same period, 849 applications were submitted for obtaining and extending work permits for foreigners and stateless persons to engage in paid employment in the territory of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, last month the State Migration Service issued a total of 108 decisions on administrative expulsion from the country due to violations of migration legislation.
