The remains of servicemen Chingiz Usub oglu Huseynov and Safar Qarsalan oglu Gambarov, who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been handed over to their families, APA reports.
A farewell ceremony for the martyrs was held today in the city of Khojaly.
Following the ceremony, a funeral prayer was performed, and the remains of the martyrs were buried at the Martyrs’ Alley in Khojaly.
The ceremony was attended by members of the public, representatives of law enforcement agencies, families of martyrs, veterans, and relatives of the fallen soldiers.
Note that both servicemen went missing in Khojaly on February 26, 1992.
