The remains of martyr serviceman Rasul Babakhan oglu Agayev, who was considered missing during the First Karabakh War and whose remains were found 34 years later, have been handed over to his family, APA’s Mil-Mugan bureau.
A farewell ceremony for martyr Rasul Agayev was held today at the home where he lived. After the ceremony, his remains were laid to rest at the Narimankand village cemetery in the Sabirabad district.
Relatives of the deceased, members of the district community, representatives of local state bodies, and servicemen attended the funeral ceremony.
It should be noted that Rasul Agayev was born on August 25, 1968, in Narimankand village of the Sabirabad district. He took part in the battles of the First Karabakh War and was considered missing from June 15, 1992, in Sirkhavand village of the Aghdara district.
