The remains of Nuriyev Yarmammad Magsud oglu, a serviceman who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been handed over to his family, APA's local bureau reports.
A farewell ceremony for the missing martyr was held today in the Khachmaz district.
The serviceman's remains were laid to rest at the cemetery in Kohna Khudat village of the Khachmaz district.
The burial ceremony was attended by the martyr's family members, relatives, representatives of the district community, families of martyrs, war veterans, military personnel, law enforcement officers and local residents.
Note that Yarmammad Nuriyev was born in 1961 in Kohna Khudat village of the Khachmaz district.
He went missing in 1993 near the Araz River in the Jabrayil district.
The identity of the martyr, who had been considered missing for many years, was established through the identification process, and his remains were handed over to his family.
