The remains of First Karabakh War missing servicemember Mehriban Arif gizi Garayeva have been handed over to her family in the city of Sumgayit, APA reports.
The leadership of the Sumgayit City Executive Authority, city residents, families of martyrs, veterans, and the martyr's family members attended the farewell ceremony.
After the funeral prayer was performed, the remains of the martyr were laid to rest at the Martyrs’ Alley in Sumgayit.
Mehriban Arif gizi Garayeva was born in 1970 in the city of Sumgayit.
She went missing in 1992 in the village of Sirkhavand, Aghdara district.
