The remains of martyr Aydın Nariman oglu Nuriyev, who went missing during the First Karabakh War, were handed over to his family in the village of Mirti, Goychay district, APA’s Shirvan bureau reports.
A farewell ceremony was held for the martyr. The event was attended by representatives of the Goychay District Executive Authority, members of the public, villagers, families of martyrs, veterans, and the martyr’s relatives.
After the funeral prayer, the remains of Aydın Nuriyev were laid to rest at the Mırtı village cemetery.
Note that martyr Aydin Nuriyev was born in 1966 in Mirı village of Goychay district.
In 1992, he took part in battles as a member of the Khojaly volunteer defense battalion. He went missing on February 26, 1992, in Khojaly.
