“The US is continuing its support to Azerbaijan in demining,” said Michael Terry, Program Manager, European Office, Office of Disarmament and Prohibition of US Department of State during his visit to Agdam’s liberated areas, APA reports.
“I have been much to mined areas. It is very dangerous for the life of people and demining is important. The view that we see gives a broad impression of the scale of the destruction. Of course, the Azerbaijani side continues reconstruction works and people will return to their homes. ANAMA also bears a heavy burden in the implementation of the process. Deming is the main condition on the eve of the return of people,” noted M. Terry.
