“Climate change is a global threat”, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, İlham Aliyev said at the XVIII Summit of heads of members states and governments of the Non-Aligned Movement which is held in Baku.
Head of State said that Azerbaijan supports the international efforts against the catastrophes of climate change: “Azerbaijan has ratified the Paris agreement, aims a 35 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared to 1990 the base year. Only environmentally clean gas and hydroelectric power stations are used to produce the electricity power in Azerbaijan”.
