Azerbaijani president allocates 11 million AZN to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake in Azerbaijan

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today signed a Decree On additional measures regarding with continuing the works to eliminate the consequences of natural disaster occurred on the territory of Shamakhy, Ismayilly and Aghsu regions of Azerbaijan, ONA reports.

According to the Decree, from the reserve foundation of the President of Azerbaijan Republic specified in 2019 state budget totally 11 million AZN was allocated to continuing the works on eliminating damages made to houses, social and infrastructure objects as a result of earthquakes occurred on the territory of Shamakhy, Ismayilly and Aghsu regions of Azerbaijan, as well as 5 million AZN to the Ministry of Emergency Situations in order to build houses, social and infrastructure objects and continue restoration works in the mentioned objects and 2 million AZN per Executive Power of Shamakhy, Ismayilly and Aghsu regions for repairing of houses.

The Cabinet of Ministers is entrusted to resolve issues arising from the order, the Ministry of Finance - financing the amount indicated in the Decree.
