Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is expected to travel to Tehran later on Saturday, APA reports citing Iran's Mehr News Agency.
The reported visit comes as Pakistan continues efforts to mediate between Tehran and Washington amid tensions over the war in the Middle East and the Strait of Hormuz.
The trip follows two meetings between Naqvi and Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's Interior Ministers' Meeting in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on Thursday and Friday.
