On March 5, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ishaq Dar called the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the phone conversation the Pakistani side expressed deep concern over the drone attack carried out against the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that such actions, which could lead to a broad escalation in the region, are unacceptable.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized that Azerbaijan expects Iran to clarify the issue and provide relevant explanations within a short time.
The ministers also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
