The number of people resettled to the liberated territories and the employed population last year has been announced, APA reports.
This was reflected in the “Report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025,” which was discussed at today’s session of the Milli Majlis.
It was noted that during 2025, 376 families (1,704 people) were resettled to the city of Jabrayil, 8 families (23 people) to Shusha, 68 families (323 people) to Khojaly, 108 families (450 people) to Kalbajar, 1 family (5 people) to Fuzuli, 37 families (155 people) to Lachin, 191 families (787 people) to Ballica village of the Khojaly district, 123 families (431 people) to Khanyurdu village, 139 families (609 people) to Tazabina village, 114 families (428 people) to Shushakend village, 58 families (220 people) to Badara village, 35 families (138 people) to Dashbulag village, 59 families (216 people) to Seyidbeyli village, 255 families (989 people) to Hasanriz village of the Aghdara district, 180 families (592 people) to Sugovushan settlement, 33 families (120 people) to Kolatag village, 137 families to Vangli village, 188 families (785 people) to Sarijali village, 283 families (1,206 people) to Kangarli village, 649 families (2,571 people) to Khidirli village, 103 families (405 people) to the city of Aghdam, 89 families (363 people) to Beylik village of the Lachin district, 85 families (360 people) to Sos village of the Khojavand district, 122 families (513 people) to Girmizi Bazar settlement, 48 families (186 people) to Hadrut settlement, 51 families (137 people) to Aghali village of the Zangilan district, 132 families (653 people) to Mammadbeyli village, 191 families (762 people) to Horovlu village of the Jabrayil district, and 30 families (115 people) to Kerkijahan settlement of the city of Khankendi. In total, 3,893 families, comprising 15,781 people, were resettled.
Currently, nearly 30,000 internally displaced persons have already been provided with homes in the liberated territories and are living there, while a total of 74,750 people live in these areas, working in construction, public service, and various other sectors.
It was noted that in 2025, 113 vacancies were filled in Aghali village of the Zangilan district, 341 in the city of Lachin, 97 in Zabukh village of the Lachin district, 499 in the city of Fuzuli, 222 in the city of Shusha, 45 in Sus village of the Lachin district, 9 in Mammadbeyli village of the Lachin district, 484 in the city of Jabrayil, 44 in the city of Khojaly, 126 in Sarijali village of the Aghdam district, 70 in Hasanriz village of the Aghdara district, 112 in Sugovushan village of the Aghdara district, 108 in Kangarli village of the Aghdam district, 39 in Beylik village of the Lachin district, 146 in Khidirli village of the Aghdam district, 151 in Ballica village of the Khojaly district, 29 in Khanyurdu village of the Khojaly district, 31 in Tazabina village of the Khojaly district, 30 in Vangli village of the Aghdara district, 14 in Shushakend village of the Khojaly district, 57 in the Kalbajar district, 6 in Dashbulag village of the Khojaly district, 5 in Hadrut settlement of the Khojavand district, 13 in Bazar settlement of the Khojavand district, 5 in Badara village of the Khojaly district, 31 in Horovlu village of the Jabrayil district, 3 in Sos village of the Khojavand district, 5 in Talish village of the Aghdara district, 8 in Kolatag village of the Aghdara district, and 4 vacancies were filled in Seyidbeyli village of the Khojaly district.
Within the self-employment program, 154 people from the population settled in 2025 were provided with assets. In addition, training was organized for 1.1 thousand people in 42 specialties at 12 vocational education institutions, while 350 internally displaced persons were involved in short-term professional development training.
In total, out of 8.7 thousand economically active people whose return was ensured in the liberated territories, the employment of approximately 8 thousand people has been secured.
