Compliance of the project with the construction of urban planning documentation will be checked first of all while permitting construction, ONA reports.
This is reflected in the proposed changes to the Code for Urban Planning and Construction, which will be discussed on March 5 at the plenary session of Parliament.
The relevant executive body shall issue a decision within 5 working days. The opinion that the construction project is incompatible with town-planning documents (based on the detailed plan in force, in the absence of such a plan or its expiry, the possibility of allowing for construction according to the Town Planning and Construction Code, including the detailed zoning rules, the type and scale of construction, and the basic terms of construction in the areas along with the settlements) is the basis for rejection of construction permits.
