On February 20, the first group of residents, comprising 50 families with a total of 194 individuals, resettled in the city of Khojavend, as well as 20 families, totaling 94 people, relocated to Khojavend village, received keys to their new apartments, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
The key handover ceremony was attended by officials from the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in the city of Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts, along with representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and other officials.

Under the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan launched the first phase of the relocation process to the city and village of Khojavend on February 20, APA reports.
During this phase, 50 families, comprising 194 individuals, were resettled in Khojavend city, while 20 families, totaling 94 people, were relocated to Khojavend village as part of the ongoing “Great Return” Program.
