The Israeli Air Force and drones carried out continuous strikes on settlements in southern Lebanon on May 9, killing 36 civilians and wounding 74 in the past 24 hours, the country's Ministry of Health said, APA reports.
"The total number of deaths since the start of the military escalation on March 2 has reached 2,795, and the number of wounded has reached 8,586," the department said in a statement distributed on the social network X.
The Ministry of Health noted that rescuers continue to clear debris in Nabatieh, Saida, and Tyre, and it is possible that the number of victims and injured may increase by the end of the day.
