“Body remains regarding the First Karabakh war believed to belong to 100 persons were delivered to Azerbaijan,” said Secretary of the State Commission on Captives, Missing, and Hostages Ismail Akhundov at the press conference held today, APA reports.

According to him, moreover, body remains believed to belong to nearly 60 people were identified by military servicemen of the Republic of Azerbaijan and others and delivered to Forensic Medical Expertise and Pathological Anatomy Association: “DNA samples are taken from them. Our latest operation took place in Farrukh heights. However, we think that it is not the end. Therefore we will return there and continue exhumation works. Body remains were found also in Ashagi Seyhidahmadli village. As Fuzuli was polluted with mines, we can not carry out exhumation works there. After demining, we will continue these works there too.”
