"Armenians committed aggression against Azerbaijan 30 years ago as well. Both in the First Karabakh War and during the Patriotic War, Armenians used mercenaries," said Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev to journalists in Ganja city, APA reports.
He noted that they have concrete facts regarding this: "We know the identity of the mercenaries. Many of them are citizens of foreign countries. In this regard, the General Prosecutor's Office has sent petitions to them. We are continuing our work in this field".
Prosecutor General said that works are being carried out in order to bring those persons to responsibility: "There are some difficulties and complications here. There are problems with their extradition. Unfortunately, some countries do not want to cooperate in this regard".
