An Azerbaijani delegation has visited the family of Turkish Air Force senior sergeant Berkay Karaca, who was martyred when a Turkish military C-130 cargo aircraft crashed near the Azerbaijan–Georgia border, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The visit was led by Major General Zaur Zeynalov, the military attaché of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, alongside representatives of the Turkish Ministry of National Defence.
During the visit, Major General Zeynalov offered condolences to the family and expressed solidarity. The Azerbaijani national flag was presented to the family in honour of the martyred soldier.
The crash involved a C-130 Hercules operated by the Turkish Air Force.
