The Karabakh war, January 20, Chernobyl disabled people will be provided with cars in Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev has today signed an Order on additional measures to provide cars to the persons who became disabled while protecting the territorial integrity, independence and the constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the January 20, 1990 events, in elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster, as well as the World War 2 disabled and those considered equal to them based on the medical instructions on provision of special vehicles, ONA reports.

Under the Order, 5 (five) million manats will be allocated from the President’s Contingency Fund provided in the 2019 State Budget to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population for improvement of the provision of cars to the persons who became disabled while protecting the territorial integrity, independence and the constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the January 20, 1990 events, in elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster, as well as the World War 2 disabled and those considered equal to them based on the medical instructions on provision of special vehicles.
