There will be five consecutive non-working days in May due to Eid al-Adha and Independence Day, APA reports.
Based on the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 2, 2025, Eid al-Adha will fall on May 27 and 28 this year.
Independence Day (May 28) is also considered a non-working day. According to the Labor Code, if Eid al-Adha coincides with another public holiday that is a non-working day, the next working day is considered a day off.
Since Eid al-Adha coincides with Independence Day this year, the following day — May 29 — will also be a non-working day.
At the same time, May 30 falls on Saturday and May 31 on Sunday.
Thus, there will be no working days on May 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 consecutively.
