The patriotic upbringing of children and their protection from information harmful to their health and development are among the goals of state policy, APA reports.
This is reflected in the new draft Law “On the Rights of the Child” discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Family, Women and Children’s Affairs.
According to the currently effective law, state policy on children aims to ensure that every child grows up and is brought up in necessary material and living conditions, receives education based on progressive requirements, and is formed into a worthy citizen. State policy is implemented based on targeted children's social programs, created with consideration for national and local characteristics. In addition to state bodies, other legal entities and individuals may participate in the implementation of these programs.
