In 2025, the country’s population increased by 37,462 people, or 0.4%, reaching 10,262,351 as of January 1, 2026, APA reports.
This was reflected in the publication of the State Statistical Committee presenting the macroeconomic indicators of the country’s economic and social development for January–December.
It was stated that 54.3% of the population live in urban areas, 45.7% in rural areas, 49.8% are men, and 50.2% are women.
