Another resettlement to Khojaly took place today, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
Apartment keys were handed over to 30 families comprising 149 people.
Deputy Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, Sabuhi Gahramanov, who attended the ceremony, provided information about the goals and objectives of the Great Return program being implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
He stated that, in accordance with the instructions and directives of the head of state, modern infrastructure is being established in the liberated territories, residential buildings and social facilities are being constructed, and comprehensive conditions are being created to ensure the comfortable and safe resettlement of residents. The employment of those returning to their native lands is also being kept in constant focus. The relocation process continues in stages within the framework of the Great Return program.
The apartment keys were then presented to the residents.

Those relocating to Khojaly are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
Residents returning to their native homeland expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care provided to them. They also conveyed their appreciation to the brave Azerbaijani Army, heroic soldiers, and officers who liberated the country’s lands from occupation, and offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
