Individuals who illegally produce or distribute pornographic or sexual photo, video or audio materials using artificial intelligence technologies or special software will face imprisonment, APA reports.
This is reflected in the proposed new Article 242-1 of the Criminal Code, which was submitted for discussion at today’s session of the Milli Majlis.
Under the draft, producing pornographic or sexual photo, video or audio materials using artificial intelligence technologies or special software by using a person’s image or voice without their consent, as well as distributing such materials in the media, on internet information resources or information and telecommunication networks where they are publicly displayed, will be punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
After discussions, the draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
