The working group of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population is continuing the corresponding work to improve the management in the field of child adoptions in accordance with the Decree No. 393 of President Ilham Aliyev, dated December 10, 2018, ONA reports.
As part of the work, the bill on “Rules for Adoption of Children Deprived of Parental Care” is being prepared.
The bill provides for conducting a single electronic record for the purpose of providing children deprived of parental care with family upbringing (adoption, guardianship, custody), and, in the absence of such possibilities, their enrolment in education, upbringing, treatment, social protection and other similar institutions.
The adoption of the children belonging to the relevant category, the upkeeping, upbringing and education of the adopted children will undergo a single monitoring in accordance with the law.
