President Ilham Aliyev’s new Order “On the Indexation of Labor Pensions” creates another important opportunity to strengthen the social protection of pensioners and increase pensions, APA reports.
This was stated in a press release issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
“Under the Order, all pensions assigned by January 1, 2026, are being increased by 9.3 percent through indexation from January 1 of this year, in line with the annual growth rate of the average monthly wage for 2025, based on data provided by the State Statistical Committee,” the statement said.
