A requirement has been established for municipalities receiving grants from foreign donors, APA reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the “Rules for obtaining the right of foreign donors to provide grants in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
According to the decision, in order to obtain the opinion of the Ministry of Finance on the financial and economic feasibility of the grant and subsequently register the grant agreement (decision), the foreign donor or the recipient under the agreement (their representative) must apply within 30 days after the contract is concluded (or the decision is made) to the Ministry of Justice with relevant applications regarding municipalities (municipal bodies) under the “one-stop-shop principle.”
