Azerbaijan conducts vaccination against flu-ORDER

Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Teymur Musayev has signed an Order "On strengthening preventive and anti-epidemic measures against flu and severe respiratory virus infections among people regarding the start of the autumn-winter season of 2022-2023" in accordance with the document "On Global Influenza Strategy for 2019-2030" of the World Health Organization (WHO), Ministry told APA.

Implementation of anti-flu vaccination measures among the defined population groups in all cities and regions of the Republic within one month starting from October 10, 2022, as well as conducting sanitary-educational work for the prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral diseases among the population, organization of medical observations in general education and pre-school institutions, provision of hospitalization of suspected flu patients, especially children and the elderly population, if necessary, the application of a restrictive regime in medical institutions, the instructions for ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (masks) by medical personnel are reflected in the Order.
