The State Labor Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population has held awareness-raising events on labor protection at another 33 enterprises in the territories liberated from occupation, the Ministry told APA.
It was reported that employees of the Service, the Mine Action Agency, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry participated in these events held in the districts of Fuzuli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan.
During the events, attended by more than 900 people consisting of employers’ representatives and employees, information was provided on the main requirements of the legislation related to ensuring healthy and safe working conditions at workplaces, the implementation of new state standards on labor protection, and workplace attestation.
Participants were also informed about workplace safety rules, the main principles of mine safety, and ways to prevent risks.
Within the framework of the awareness-raising events, participants were also provided with guidebooks, booklets, and other informational materials, and their questions were answered.
