According to the tasks assigned by the country’s leaders, in order to prevent the danger that could be created on Azerbaijan’s territory by the impact of the coronavirus (COVID - 19) infection, the Baku City Executive Power (BCEP) has further intensified the implementation of the serious and urgent measures, the BCEP told APA.
In order to prevent growth of number of cases of infection with this disease in the capital city and to improve efficiency of the relevant prophylactic measures taken in this area, the personnel of the utility services of the capital city have switched over to the enhanced working mode and are continuing the implementation of the disinfection measures in accordance with orders and recommendations of the Operative Tssk Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.
The medical and prophylactic and disinfection measures by means of special disinfectant substances are being regularly taken by the capital city’s utility service agencies in residential buildings, common-use spaces inside buildings, block entrances and stair flights, places more frequently used by residents, dustbin yards, homestead gardens and residential quarters and other places, as well as trade centers, open-air bazaars and large trade malls mostly attended by residents of the capital city, and additional preventative and awareness-raising measures are also being implemented.
