A total of 52 appeals were received from participants of the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) by the Republican Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Center within the framework of the event, TABIB told APA.
It was reported that 10 people who applied to emergency medical aid teams serving in the area where the session was held and in other designated locations were evacuated to various medical institutions.
Of them, 1 person received medical care at the Clinical Medical Center, 1 at the Central Oil Workers Hospital, 2 at the Mahammadi Modular Hospital operating under the Sabunchu Medical Center, and 6 at the Yeni Klinika. Other applicants were provided with outpatient medical assistance on site.
For information, it was noted that in addition to emergency and urgent medical aid services, four medical institutions were also involved in the process to organize medical services during the event days.
During the event days, appeals were mainly registered from citizens of Azerbaijan, Kenya, Italy, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, Namibia, Ethiopia, Serbia, Zimbabwe, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The appeals were mainly related to acute respiratory illnesses, headaches, and arterial hypertension.
Recall that 37 emergency medical aid vehicles were allocated to various areas in connection with the event, while a total of 93 emergency medical aid teams operated continuously in an intensified working regime in the areas where the event was held and in designated hotels.
It should be noted that during the days of the event, the activities of emergency medical aid teams were continuously coordinated by TABIB employees at the Main Operations Center.
